The majority of fees received through this validator will be dedicated to community-led projects, bounties, and other ecosystem initiatives, reinforcing our commitment to a thriving and decentralized future. We are building for the long-term health of the Solana ecosystem. Running this validator allows us to give back to the community by providing funds to projects that bolster the ecosystem.

The Stake for Builders 🛠️ 😈 Validator is a Solana validator operated by Blockdaemon with 0% commission and 0% MEV fees. Blockdaemon retains none of the staking or MEV rewards—100% goes to delegators.
Who is this validator for?
This is not a replacement for our White Label or Blockdaemon Validators. The Solana Stake for Builders Validator is best for developers and startups in the Solana ecosystem looking to delegate without fees, and will not include support offerings and dedicated Customer Support Managers, slashing guarantees, custodial support, integrations within our portal to connect via APIs or wallet connect, or KYC/KYB/AML crucial for our institutional customers.
What does 0% commission and MEV rewards mean?
- 0% Commission: No cut from inflation rewards or MEV tips.
- 0% MEV Commission: 100% of MEV tips are automatically distributed to delegators via the Jito tip distribution system.
How are base and priority fees used?
Blockdaemon will distribute 80% of base and priority fees (from validator rewards) to Solana ecosystem projects, starting July 2025 on a quarterly basis.
More information will be released in May 2025 on the Blockdaemon Blog, including grant application details.
Can I help choose which projects are funded?
Not at this time. Project selection is internal, but Blockdaemon may allow community voting in the future via the blog and Solana Discord.
How much can I earn by staking?
Check Blockdaemon's monthly PRR reports for validator performance. Reports specific to the Stake for Builders validator will be posted quarterly.

You can delegate SOL through any wallet that supports staking:

Yes. The validator is MEV-enabled via Jito-Solana, and 100% of MEV rewards go to delegators.
