How to Add Validator(s)
Add one or multiple validators to the Ethereum staking dashboard.
Info
- When staking via the Blockdaemon App or staking API your validators will be auto-populated into your Dashboard.
- Externally added validators can't be exited through the dashboard.
Follow the steps below to add the ETH validator address via the staking dashboard.
Adding Validators for the First Time
- Go to Staking > Stake In-App menu.
- Click on the tile or the arrow (→) at the top right of the Ethereum protocol.
- Select the Add a Validator Address to add a validator.
- Enter one or more validator addresses up to 1000 at a time.
Note:
Ethereum validator addresses are formatted as a 98 character string, starting with “0x”.
- Click the Add Validator(s) button.
- Once added, you can view the data on the validators and the available actions you can take.
Adding Validators
Follow these steps to add validators:
- Select the + Add Address button.
- Add one or more validator addresses up to 1000 at a time.
Note:
Ethereum validator addresses are formatted as a 98 character string, starting with “0x”.
- Click Add Validator(s) to proceed.
The process could fail if there are existing validator addresses or invalid addresses in the input.
- You have successfully added the validator(s), and data on these validators will now be reflected on the dashboard.
