Unstake ATOM

This guide shows how to unstake ATOM with the Blockdaemon app.

Important Notes:

• The minimum stake amount is 1 ATOM.
• Unstaking ATOM takes 21 days to complete. After this period your funds will automatically be withdrawn to your connected wallet.
• Ensure to have enough ATOM in your connected wallet to cover gas fees.

Follow these steps:

Step 1. Access Cosmos Dashboard

1. Go to Wallets & Staking > Staking menu.
2. Select Dashboard or click on the card of the Cosmos protocol.

3. Select Stake Actions, and choose the Unstake option.

Step 2. Unstake Your ATOM

Note

Ensure you have your wallet connected.

1. Enter the unstaking amount. The Transaction Summary box will display the unstake amount and estimated transaction fees.
2. Click Unstake to initiate the unstaking process and follow the on-screen prompts.

Step 3. Confirm the Unstaking

Complete the steps below to complete unstaking ATOM:

1. Sign the transaction in your wallet.
2. Wait for confirmation. The transaction is being confirmed by the Cosmos Network.

3. Transaction Complete. The unstaking of ATOM takes 21 days to complete. After this period, your funds will automatically be withdrawn to your connected wallet.
