1. How to Connect via cURL

Use cURL to establish a Pythnet RPC connection with the following command:

curl --location 'YOUR_NODE_URL' \
     --header 'Content-Type: application/json' \
     --header 'X-Auth-Token: YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN' \
     --data '{
       "id": 1,
       "jsonrpc": "2.0",
       "method": "RPC_METHOD",
       "params": [METHOD_PARAMS]
     }'
  • Replace YOUR_NODE_URL with the node URL in the Blockdaemon app.
  • Replace YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN with the Auth Token in the Blockdaemon app.
  • Replace RPC_METHOD with your chosen RPC method.
  • Replace METHOD_PARAMS with the parameters of your chosen method.

2. How to Connect via WebSocket

Add your access credentials to a WebSocket connection request:

wscat -H "X-Auth-Token: YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN" -c wss://YOUR_ENDPOINT_URL/websocket
📘

Info:

wscat is a tool that can connect over WebSocket(s) and may need to be installed. You can use your preferred tool of choice.
