# Unstake SOL

Easily unstake your SOL tokens from the staking pool.

This guide shows how to unstake SOL with the Blockdaemon app.

> ❗️ Important Notes
>
> * Ensure you have enough SOL to pay a gas fee.
> * The minimum unstake amount is 0.1 SOL.
> * Unstaking SOL takes 1 epochs (2-3 days) to complete.

Follow these steps:

## Step 1. Access SOL Dashboard

1. Go to **Wallets & Staking** > **Staking** menu.
2. Select **Dashboard** or click on the card of the Solana protocol.

3. Click on **Stake Actions**, and choose **Unstake**.

## Step 2. Unstake SOL

1. Enter the unstaking amount. The **Transaction Summary** box will display the unstake amount and estimated transaction fees.
   1. **SOL** is a unit used to measure the transaction fee (gas fee) on the Solana network.
2. Click **Unstake** to proceed.

## Step 3. Confirm the Unstaking

The transaction is in progress and returns an unsigned transaction. Your wallet will notify you that you have a pending signature - you need to accept this in your wallet.

## Step 4. Transaction Complete

It takes 1 epoch (2-3 days) to unstake Solana. After this period, your SOL will be available to withdraw.
