# Robinhood Chain

An overview of Robinhood Chain, the Ethereum-compatible L2 for onchain finance

[Robinhood Chain](https://www.blockdaemon.com/blog/robinhood-chain-an-intro-for-financial-institutions) is a permissionless, Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 for onchain finance. Powered by Arbitrum Orbit technology, it is purpose-built for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) such as equities, ETFs, and private assets, enabling these instruments to be represented, traded, and settled onchain. The network uses Ethereum blobs for data availability and ETH as the gas token, delivering EVM compatibility, high throughput, and low-cost transactions for financial applications.

With Blockdaemon's Dedicated Robinhood Chain Nodes, experience reliable and secure infrastructure without the overhead. Choose from single or clustered Dedicated Nodes tailored for various protocols, fully managed to ensure flexible, secure, and scalable node deployment.
