How to Connect to Karura

In this guide, we will cover the following connection methods to the Karura infrastructure:

• Karura HTTP RPC Connection via cURL
• Karura Connection via WebSocket 
• Karura Connection via Sidecar API

How to Access Your Blockdaemon Karura Credentials

Once you have purchased your Blockdaemon Karura infrastructure, you can access your credentials:

1. Log into the Blockdaemon app.
2. Click Nodes under the Access menu.
3. Select the Karura node.
4. Select the Connect tab. You'll find the following information:
   1. Endpoint URL
   2. Auth String
   3. Auth Token

Karura HTTP RPC Connection via cURL

Here's how you add your access credentials to a cURL request:

• Replace YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN with the Auth Token in the Blockdaemon app.
• Replace YOUR_RPC_METHOD with your chosen RPC method.
• Replace YOUR_ENDPOINT_URL with the Endpoint URL in the Blockdaemon app.

Karura Connection via WebSocket

• Replace YOUR_ENDPOINT_URL with the Endpoint URL in the Blockdaemon app.

Here's how you connect to Karura via Sidecar API

• Replace YOUR_ENDPOINT_URL with the Endpoint URL sent by your Blockdaemon TAM.
