# Overview

Start here to understand and integrate Blockdaemon Earn Stack

Blockdaemon Earn Stack is a complete, secure platform for offering staking, DeFi yield, and swaps through a single, non‑custodial integration.

It is built for wallet providers, custodians, fintechs, and other regulated platforms that need to enable on‑chain earn products without running validators or managing direct DeFi integrations.

***

## What is Earn Stack?

* A no‑code widget plus SDK/APIs that expose staking and DeFi yield across 50+ protocols from inside your own application.
* Non‑custodial, infrastructure‑only: you retain control of client relationships, custody stack, and balance sheet treatment.
* Delivered on Blockdaemon’s institutional platform (ISO 27001, SOC 2, SEC‑aligned staking model).

**Earn Stack is Not**

* Earn Stack is not a retail app, exchange, or fund product.
* Earn Stack is not a custodial solution

## What You Can Do With Earn Stack

Earn Stack lets you:

* Offer staking and DeFi rewards to end‑users using one integration instead of multiple protocol‑specific setups.
* Choose between a codeless, white‑label widget and programmatic access via SDKs and APIs.
* Connect directly to protocol‑level yield sources while keeping your own custody and wallet models.

***

## Customizability

Earn Stack is configurable at the language, asset, and feature level.

* **Languages**: the widget supports multiple languages so you can localise client‑facing flows across regions.
* **Token universe**: you decide which chains and tokens are visible to end‑users, aligned to your risk, liquidity, and product policies.
* **Feature flags**: staking, DeFi, and swap can each be enabled or disabled, allowing you to start with a narrow surface (e.g. staking‑only) and expand over time.

Configuration is handled via initial setup parameters and policy configuration, so changes do not require a full reintegration.

## Core components

### Earn Widget

Embeddable UI component for staking, swapping, and DeFi yield.

* Integrated once, rendered wherever you choose in your UI (web or app).
* You control: branding, asset/universe selection, feature set (e.g. staking only vs staking + DeFi).
* Blockdaemon provides: transaction flows, protocol integrations, pricing, and execution.

Typical placements: portfolio views, product “Earn” tab, account‑level yield screens.

### Staking

Non‑custodial, institutional staking access.

* Coverage: 35+ PoS assets including Ethereum and Solana, expanding to 50+ protocols with DeFi.
* Model: intent‑based Staking API abstracts validator operations; no in‑house node management required.
* Guarantees: 100% slashing protection offered at the infrastructure layer.

You surface staking; Blockdaemon runs validators and reporting.

### DeFi Earn

Standardised DeFi access for lending, DEX/AMM yield, and liquidity pools.

* Aggregated DeFi access via a single DeFi API, including lending protocols, DEXs, AMMs, and cross‑chain bridges.
* Liquidity, routing, and pricing are handled via low‑latency APIs (DeFi Connect).
* You can scope which protocols and pools are in or out of your policy set.

Yield appears to clients as a standardised “earn” surface rather than protocol‑specific plumbing.

### Swap

Execution layer for asset conversion into and out of eligible “earn” positions.

* Instant swaps with competitive pricing and zero‑slippage at the UI level; routing handled behind the scenes.
* Integrated into the same flow as staking and DeFi (no separate execution integration required).
