# Arbitrum

[Arbitrum](https://docs.arbitrum.io/run-arbitrum-node/overview) is an L2 Optimistic Rollup solution designed to enhance the Ethereum blockchain by facilitating interactions with and the deployment of <Glossary>smart contracts</Glossary> at significantly lower transaction fees. It leverages the underlying security mechanisms of the L1 Ethereum blockchain, ensuring that all transaction data is accurately logged and posted on L1.

Blockdaemon supports Arbitrum with Dedicated Nodes, allowing you to interact with Ethereum at lower costs. Our nodes are built for maximum uptime and security, with high availability clusters and Smart Routing to handle backups and load surges smoothly.
